No less than fifty thousand Torah Jews responded to the call of the Torah leaders and sages of Eretz Yisroel and gathered Sunday March 9 in the early afternoon in prayer in Lower Manhattan to Beseech Hashem in prayer to intervene on behalf of the yeshiva students in EY & מullify the Hamanic law in Israel to take Torah studying students to the IDF by draft. If one chooses Not go to the army he will be treated as a criminal. This law primarily is the responsibility of Netanyahu, as declared by Maran Harav Shteinman shlita and other Torah Leaders.
Buses from Lakewood ,Baltimore ,Rhode Island, Massachusets and more rolled into New York to join the Thousands of participants.
The Satmar group headed by The Rebbe, Rav A. Teitelbaum shlita also participated in the gathering.
