New Sefer captures torah world

The new sefer - Tiferes Shlomo from the unusual Gaon Harav Shlomo Shneider, zt'l has astounded the torah world.

This sefer is a testimony to the gift of a miraculous memory given to those who aquire torah thru the 48 ways.

The 'Breath of Knowledge' call it bekius of shas, medrash, shulchan aruch, Yerushalmy, rishonim and achronim is hardly seen.

The great Gaon, Harav Schneider, zt'l was a master of 'anivus'. The novimnsker rebbe, shlita calls him a 'Nechba el Hakeilim'.

The great Posek ,Hagaon Rav Tuvia Goldstein, zt'l writes an Elaborate haskama on his seforim.

This sefer is on chumash. He also wrote three volumes of Teshuvos called Diverei Shlomo.

This sefer deserves celebration.

Rebbe of Stolin to come to NY

The Rebbe of Stolin,shlita is Scheduled to arrive to NY shortly.

The Rebbe shlita is very beloved by Gedolei Yisroel . His Genius is his Pashtus and Genuine Ahavas Yisroel. He stands out with his Humility and Devotion to his followers.

His admirers are from the chassidic groups as well as from the Litvish camp. Mordern and charedei find something special in the Rebbe shlita.

Kolel Yad Chaim Mordechai in Cleveland has impact on city

Unique for a Kolel in a real metropolis, is Kolel Yad Chaim Mordechai in Cleveland under the leadership of Hagaon Rav Yaakov Velvel Katz, shlita.

The positive influence that this Kolel has had on families & Children in the city of cleveland is incredible.

Harav Katz, shlita is the Son of Harav Chaim mordechai Katz, zt'l Rosh Hayeshiva & Founder of Telshe in America. An outspoken member of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah and a true manhig of bnei torah in America.

Harav YV Katz,shlita is a very determined Rosh Kollel, a real "Ish Matzliach". He is blessed with true siyata dishmaya and Hatzlacha.

However the yeshiva of his sainted father, zt'l is in a much different matzav.

Telshe in cleveland is unfourtunatly in a difficult time with enrollment and with finances.

Who knows what would have been if the Hanhola of Telshe would have enlisted Harav Yaakov V Katz as a Member of the Hanhalo. The enrollment would have been as it deserves to be without question.

Klal Yisroel celebrates Yahrtzeit of three Gedolim, ZT'L

This week is the yahrtzeit of these three Gedolim and Tzadikim.

The Yahrtzeit of the Gaon Of Preshburg, Harav Moshe Sofer, zt'l known as the Chasam Sofer.

The Ksav Sofer zt'l was his Son, the Chasan Sofer, zt'l was his son in Law.

Maran Hatzadik Harav Levi Yitzchok of Bardichev, Zt'l.

The "Bardichiver" was known for his Limud Zechus on all Yidden even overei aveira.

The Great Tzadik the great Poel Yeshuos, the Ribnitzer Rebbe, zt'l.

Harav Dovid Wolpin, shlita, Mashgiach of Kol Yaakov resigns

Hagaon Rav Dovid Wolpin, shlita the Mashgiach of Kol Yaakov since 1984 resigned from his position. He Did not retire.

Alumni and Talmidim are profoundly disappointed with R' Raice who declared himself in charge for not offering any Severance or financial support to Harav Wolpin, shlita.

Hagaon Harav Wolpin,shlita is widely respected and has devoted his life to his Talmidim.

Truth be told that R' Raice is quite happy that Harav Wolpin resigned as he and R' Gluck try to bring in younger blood into this new yeshiva for kids at risk. The yeshiva appears to have a steady student body of 11 students. They claim a very expanded budget despite the small enrollment.

Harav Dovid Stefansky,shlita also left Kol Yaakov, unsatisfied with the way R' Raice unilateraly changed the course of the yeshiva.

He did not Retire as reported by R' Raice.

Harav Stefansky ,shlita arrived at Kol Yaakov In 1990 when Kol Yaakov was thriving under the Leadership of Hagaon Harav Leib Tropper, shlita.

Harav Naftaly Kasten, shlita also left and started a kolel in Monsey.

The Devoted Secr'y, Mrs Shain is not there anymore. Reportedly she left though some claim she was fired. This happened as recent as 2 weeks ago.

Meanwhile the issues of ownership of Kol Yaakov have not been resolved. Issues of authority have also been ignored by R' Raice & R' Shmuel Gluck.

A Seruv (letter of contempt) is being issued by a Monsey Bais din after R' Raice ignored 3 summonses to appear before the bais din.
The plaintiff is Rabbi N Kramer who was appointed early february of this year as the director of Kol Yaakov Torah center. R' Raice was employed as adminstrator.

New Yeshiva in Woodridge

Ten Students Together with their Rosh Yeshiva started learning this Elul in Woodridge. The Rosh Yeshiva, a grandson of Maran Harav A Schechter, shlita Rosh Yeshivas Rabbenu Chaim Berlin sees hatzlocho in this new endeavor.

The new yeshiva ,appears to be a major impetus for the ever growing jewish community in Sullivan County. The yeshiva is currently housed in the Local Shul headed by Harav Grossman.

Hagaon Rav Nevenzal, shlita - New Sefer

The celebration of the Yom Tov of Succos Was enhanced by the new sefer written by Hagaon Harav Nevenzal, Shlita.

The Sefer discusses "Chol Hamoed" with much of it related to the Halochos of Chol Hamoed.
